Start:
An up and coming downstream player within the lubricants industry is seeking a Marketing and Brand Manager Tanzania .
Key account abilities

• Responsible for developing the Marketing Strategy Framework and Marketing Plans to support the execution of Retail, Fuels, Lubricants and LPG strategy frameworks
• Develop the Operational Company brand strategy and positioning
• Responsible for developing and ensuring compliance of brand standards
• Develop overall Consumer Insight strategy for the Operational Company and develop guidelines, frameworks, tools and implement research program mes on segmentation, offer development, brand and advertising
• Responsible for developing and executing an integrated communications strategy for the Operational Company brands
• Develop frameworks, tools and guidelines on promotional strategy
• Responsible for developing strategy on B2B and B2C card offers and support execution in the JV's
• Act as the focal point for Retail, Fuels, Lubricants and LPG specific Strategic Account Marketing activities and lead Advertising, Sales and Promotions and Customer Insights activities to drive growth
• Responsible for developing a Retail Strategy including format, offer, value proposition and competitive positioning
• Support the execution of business strategy for Retail, Fuel, Lubricants and LPG
• Responsible for developing Marketing capability and competency programmes
• Coach, lead and support the development of a Marketing and Customer Responsiveness mindset in all Sales and Functional Staff
• Liaise with other Associate businesses to identify and execute any potential cross business Marketing synergies
This role requires an understanding of Fuels, Lubricants and LPG from both marketing and product technical perspective. The person will also be required to have strong leadership competencies as there is a significant amount of strategy and marketing activity work-sets to cover in the role

Essential Education
• University degree, preferably marketing or business
• Proficient in English speaking and writing

Essential experience and job requirements


Experience
• Experience in supervisory or managerial positions, proven track record of delivery with relevant experience in multicultural environments required
• Previous exposure to different cultures and environments required
• Experience working in a range of roles with exposure to Retail and B2B marketing and offer development required
• Clear demonstration of influencing and networking skills required
• Exposure to developing and managing brand and communication programmes desirable
• Exposure to B2B and B2C Offer Development desirable
