Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting IT delivery efforts by analyzing and documenting current business processes, recommending process improvements, and developing the business and functional requirements needed to ensure that the technology solutions delivered meet the needs of the business. Serve as the liaison between the business areas and the technology team by understanding and critically evaluating business needs, forming requirements and functional needs. Works with customers, project managers, technical resources, outside contacts, and other stakeholders to establish technical vision, determine scope, analyze needs, and help define and deliver projects and solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Develop deep domain expertise of, and partnership with, the business function supported with particular emphasis in relationship management capabilities. Lead in the development of multi-year strategy and technology roadmaps. Provide direction/leadership on complex projects, including leading other analysts when necessary; oversee the work of other BAs on complex projects.

    Business Analysis – work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze & document requests; develop business case/project summary; prepare needs analysis and problem definition; identify current vs. future state and gap analysis.
    Relationship Building – develop deep understanding of customer, their work environment and strategic goals; identify their business challenges, provide thought partnership to define solution options; translate customer needs into business, functional, and technical requirements, workflow and process change documents. Build positive, constructive partnering relationships with key stakeholder groups, including senior leaders.
    Solution Design – help guide technical teams to develop process and technical solutions that support stakeholders' goals & objectives; organize/lead prototype reviews, demos & user acceptance reviews.
    Project/Program Support - coordinate with project & program management to identify, plan, analyze and design methodology, scope, schedule, milestones, deliverables & resources. Work with stakeholders to refine & improve process to ensure effectiveness.
    Lead the creation of annual strategic plans and development of multi-year technology roadmaps.
    Provide direction or oversight to work of other BAs on large or complex projects.

Qualifications

  •     Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years of experience or equivalent.
  •     Business Analysis (including Roadmap development, Requirement elicitation techniques, Solution design, test planning, technology change Management, vendor management, options/gap analysis).
  •     Experience using Agile methods and knowledge of waterfall, SDLC and/or business process change frameworks.
  •     Expertise, knowledge and experience supporting IT projects to deliver relationship management (CRM) solutions. Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience is a plus.
  •     Strong oral and written communication skills.
  •     Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
  •     Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage time.
  •     Able to adjust work-style and communication to match team or audience, especially when working with non-technical resources.
  •     Ability to provide direction and leadership to one or more IT Analysts on complex projects and/or multi-year strategic initiatives.
