The Position
The successful candidate is expected to:
- Be able to plan and manage multiple modules of a large software implementation project independently through all phases of system implementation life cycle.
- Work closely with users to help define business requirements, understand the software functionality and generate a detail fit-gap analysis report with design considerations to meet business requirements.
- Provide leadership to a number of Programmer Analysts in the enhancement and support of existing as well as new HIS modules / systems.
- Carry out feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis and to formulate proposals for system enhancement, and implementation plans.
The Requirements
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
At least eight years relevant experience.
- Appropriate knowledge and understanding of software engineering, object-oriented analysis & design as well as high level of awareness pertaining to programming languages.
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of data modeling and analysis techniques.
- Excellent command over the programming languages.
- Excellent supervisory skills.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in teams.
