About the Job:
Oikocredit USA is seeking a candidate a Business Development and Investor Relations Intern. S/he will be mentored by an experienced staff and receive training in Excel, Salesforce CRM, and socially responsible investing. S/he will work directly with Oikocredit USA’s business development coordinator and other members of the sales team to analyze financial inflow data, manage customer relationship data, and provide support to the investor relations and direct communications.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•     Business development analysis:
•         Analyze financial data to discover emerging trends, manage investor exit risk, and study client attrition;
•         Evaluate current investor targeting channels;
•         Monitor sales and prospect activity in key regions across the US;
•         Monitor compliance issues for certain states.
•     Investor relations:
•         Manage response process to investors in organization's fund (answering phones, responding to investor questions, writing response letters, etc.);
•         Create investor information packets;
•         Process incoming investments and manage data quality;
•         Manage and update prospects and contacts in CRM database;
•         Update investor collateral as needed.
•     Program administration:
•         Maintain project budgets and analyze costs and ROI.

Qualifications:

•     Strong analytical & data management skills, especially in Excel;
•     Experience in client relations preferred;
•     Ability to multi-task;
•     Familiarity with the social investment industry a plus;
•     Ability to work as a team member and independently;
•     Computer literacy necessary, skills/experience preferred - Excel, Salesforce, Access, or other database management.

About the Job:
Rafode is seeking Loans and Savings Officer trainees. They will report to the operations officer/branch coordinators.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for recruitment, training, and approval of loans to clients;
    Follow up of the loans to ensure timely repayment.

Qualifications:

•     Diploma in Agribusiness/Agronomist or Business Administration;
•     Good understanding of microfinance programs;
•     Not more than 25 years of age;
•     Willingness to work in remote villages;
•     Agribusiness trained candidates will be given priority;
•     Should be a Kenyan citizen.
