Senior Grant Adviser: Link Up programme Salary £34,500 - £37,000 per
annum plus benefits of up to 16% Initially 12 month contract with
possibility of extension Based Brighton, UK
The International HIV/AIDS Alliance supports community action on HIV,
health and human rights to end AIDS. Our vision is a world in which
communities have brought an end to HIV transmission, and secured their
health and human rights. Since 1994, the Alliance and its partners have
supported over 3,000 projects, in over 40 countries, reaching millions
of people.
We are seeking a Senior Grant Adviser who will be responsible for
helping to ensure that the programmatic components and deliverables of
the Link Up programme are well addressed. This role requires an
understanding of programmatic systems and deliverables and of our
contract obligations to the programme’s donor. It will involve balancing
competing priorities so as to manage risks while ensuring the delivery
of a high quality programme. The role will involve a significant level
of autonomy and may include actively overseeing:
Programme monitoring arrangements;
Technical and Organisational Development support;
Coordination of national with international policy actions;
Supporting donor liaison and compliance.
A significant focus of the role will be to liaise and work with teams
across the Alliance Secretariat, as well as with international partners,
to ensure programme delivery and quality as well as effective knowledge
sharing and learning.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of the socio-economic and
political realities of HIV work, detailed practical knowledge of at
least one of the following: SRHR; policy and advocacy work; working with
young people; working with KPs and demonstrable relevant work
experience in providing support to and oversight of complex projects.
