The Manager of Government Sales will direct and lead the Government sales activities by developing new customers and opportunities in the marketplace.

Primary Duties:


  • Develop, execute, and communicate the Government Strategic plans for assigned VA,VISN Contract Officers, and NAC Contract Officers
  • Negotiate, develop, communicate and renew profitable contracts
  • Provide strategic direction for the sales organization which leads to increased revenue, market share, and profits
  • Collaborate with vendors to gain access to additional products and special pricing for FSS sales
  • Ability to understand and discuss key financial metrics related to disposable medical supplies
  • Utilize the reporting available to set customer growth targets and potential new customer targets
  • Provide leadership to small inside sales team
  • Execute on objectives as assigned by the Exec VP and direct manager
  • Work closely with in-house general counsel on contract language and approval

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years in sales experience required.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Government Sales Account Management a plus!
