A leading software provider of risk management and portfolio management
platforms is currently searching for a Technical Operations Analyst (UNIX,
Linux, SQL, Sybase, Finance, UNIX Scripting, BAU) to work as part of their
international team of IT professionals.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Monitoring and troubleshooting a
large suite of automated processing for market and position data
·
Monitoring the overall systems
performance and reliability
·
Second tier user support and
assisting the Trade Support desk
·
You will also participate in the
design and development of the software and processes to improve quality,
performance and reliability of the services offered
·
Liaise with DBAs, UNIX Systems
Administrators and Development teams.
To be considered for the position of Technical Operations Analyst (UNIX,
Linux, SQL, Sybase, Finance, UNIX Scripting, BAU), applicants must have:
·
Demonstrable UNIX and Linux
skills, including command line and shell scripting
·
Strong SQL skills, including
Sybase
·
Scripting languages - Perl,
Shell, Bash, Python
·
Experience in a financial trading
environment
·
Enthusiasm to build new systems
and solutions from scratch with the allowance of autonomy
