Job Description
Global educational and accreditation body has an opening for an experienced Product Manager based in their London offices
Reporting to the Head of Professional Development Products and Services the successful candidate will be responsible for overall ownership of a number of products/services as well as the development, launch and full product management of new products/services, and their associated elements, such as the publications, online texts, exams and assessments (if relevant), external partners, marketing, Global Corporate Relations, Business Development Managers and Regional Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
The Product Manager, will have overall accountability for the financial performance against Budget (revenue and contribution) for their product portfolio. You will be responsible for driving the various acquisition channels (eg individuals, colleges, corporates, associates and advocates).
You will effectively and efficiently manage the relationships within the product portfolio, ensuring that the relationships are optimised from a commercial perspective. Take responsibility for other products and services, either permanently or as required in order to manage overall workloads within the team.
The role will also take responsibility for the product development/new product development of products and services designed to meet the needs of Students or Members; ranging from the idea generation, market research viability, project management, development, launch, through to post-launch product management.

Proactive approach and able to work on own initiative
Ability to develop/commission financial and education content
Ability to grasp complex technical and business issues, with the ability to determine product and content development and design
Respect and understanding of different cultures/national sensibilities
The ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally Excellent presentation skills (to present projects at internal meetings) Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programmes
High standard of written and verbal communication skills
People and team development and mentoring
Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educated to degree level
- Relevant accountancy qualification - CCAB qualified would be highly desirable, but not essential
- Proven demonstrable experience of content and/or product development/innovation Successful experience in project management
- Experience in managing budgets
- Experience of commissioning content, the publishing process
- International experience/exposure to international working would be beneficial
Up to £50k with outstanding benefits, including flexitime, up to 10 days off per year in lieu of overtime, health care etc
