About the Job:
Accion East and Online is seeking a Bilingual Loan Consultant - Miami. S/he will act as the point of contact for prospective Accion's primarily Hispanic borrowers.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Identify, initiate, and manage strategic community partnerships that increase quality referrals;
- Identify small business owners who need financing and have them apply for a loan;
- Assist clients in the preparation of loan applications;
- Ensure strong loan performance, including on time payments;
- Able to generate leads through proactive outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred;
- Bilingual - English and Spanish;
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in small business, prior business experience/sales skills preferred;
- At least 3 years related work experience;
- Good presentation and math skills, knowledge of Word and Excel;
- Willingness to work nights and weekends, when needed.
