Role overview
Reporting to and working closely with the Country Director and programme
team, the Head of Programmes will effectively lead the management and
development of VSO Uganda’s holistic, integrated country programme. The HOP is
based in Kampala with substantial travel.
Skills, qualifications and experience required
Higher level degree in related field, with substantial (>7 years) senior
level programme leadership experience in a complex INGO. Substantial prior
success in developing major, multiyear proposals. Experience in diverse,
holistic, integrated development programming including livelihoods, education
and health. Strong communicator, passionate, dynamic and committed.
