Role overview
We are looking for a marketing or direct marketing professional with some
experience of recruiting volume new supporters or customers to a business.
You’ll be working on a range of charity direct marketing recruitment channels
including face to face fundraising, cold mail appeals, telemarketing and new
media.
Skills, qualifications and experience required
We have ambitious plans to grow Individual Giving income from £3million to
£8million by end of 2015/16. We’d like the ideal applicant to be creative and
innovative with good experience writing emotive and responsive copy. You will
hold a natural affinity with numbers and demonstrable analytical and logical thought
and be able to multitask across a range of projects and media at one time. Your
strong relationship building and communication skills will be important as you
will be working with some of our key suppliers, so you will also be a confident
public speaker to deliver inspiring training to fundraisers. Most importantly,
you’ll be driven by wanting to ensure the media you work on are successful and
build an excellent return for the charity. You’ll need to be fascinated by how
you can inspire potential supporters to support our unique approach to
alleviating poverty to be successful. If you are keen to make a contribution to
helping some of the poorest people around the world within a team that is
determined to hit its long term fundraising targets, this could be the role for
you.
