Job Summary:
Responsible for accurate and timely inserting, sorting and distribution of
mail packs as per the mail processing summary specs. Mail packs are defined as
the content and the envelope. Responsible for following the operational
guidelines for the mailing equipment, the procedures and policies of
Computershare Document Services, and Canada Post regulations.
Major Responsibilities:

Ensure that all mail is sorted in
an efficient and timely manner according to the instructions specified in the
job bag requirements.
·
Verify and record the number of
pieces mailed, spoiled and reordered on the job bag form, insuring complete
reconciliation on a page, set, and job level. The incumbent is responsible for
initialing and dating all work completed. Attention must be given to such
details as lodgment date to ensure that the mail goes out from the Mailroom on
time.

Loading machines in consistent
and timely manner, providing support in operation of mailing machines.

Contribute to the overall
appearance of the work area thereby ensuring a presentable appearance at all
times.
·
Communicate openly, timely and in
a clear manner any issue with the team leader, co-workers and any one else who
needs information regarding the mailing function.

Follow mailroom procedures to
ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
·
Conduct oneself in a professional
manner at all times.
·
All other duties as assigned by
supervisor/manager.
Skills and Experience:
·
One to two years experience with
high volume mail insertion equipment.
·
Effective listening skills and
ability to follow instruction as required
·
Attention to detail a must
