FHI 360 serves more than 60 countries, all 50 U.S. states and all U.S. territories.We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Program Officer I, Global Connections in Washington, DC.
Additional Responsibilities:
The Global Connections team designs and implements academic, professional, cultural, and youth exchange programs for students and emerging leaders around the world.  We are seeking a Program Officer I to provide administrative and programmatic support to the Pan-Africa Youth Leadership Exchange Program and the Creative Arts Exchange Program, both of which foster and support mutual understanding, leadership development, and cultural exchange for State Department-funded participants traveling to the United States.  Specific responsibilities will include:
·             Support project manager  with all aspects of operational procedures and logistics to support multiple short-term exchange delegations during the year;
·             Provide logistical support for U.S.-based workshops and community visits, including arranging hotels, transportation, cultural activities, payment of stipends and allowances, and producing program materials;
·             Support project manager in some aspects of project content design and development, as appropriate;
·             Assist project manager with tracking of expenditures, vendor procurement, and compiling data for reporting deliverables;
·             Accompany youth delegations to Washington, D.C.-based program sessions;
·             Accompany youth delegations to communities outside Washington, D.C., serving as the on-site project liaison for the community-based implementers and facilitator of all travel logistics for the delegations;
·             Other duties as assigned.
