The Position
Roshan, an IPS company based in Afghanistan is seeking for a
Senior Manager, Products to work within its Marketing and Products Team. Senior
Manager, Products is responsible for launching new products to the market and
managing existing products portfolio to achieve maximum efficiency for both
customer satisfaction/loyalty and achieving desired business results.
A summary of the Senior Manager, Products responsibilities
and tasks is as follows:
Supervises product team, including all VAS and Data
Provides educational opportunities to product team to expand
their scope of responsibility
Actively participates in team decisions and provides
recommendations for improvements
Creates targets for all team members and guides for
achieving the same
Trains new and current staff and provides them mentorship
and stimulating their growth within the company
Develops strategy for products and roadmap development
Executes strategy in cooperation with cross functional teams
Participates in various cross functional teams within the
company in order to deliver company goals
Presents product strategies to investors and board members
Works with legal and local authorities on creation of new
regulation for new technologies and products in the market
Identifies opportunities for new products
Prepares functional requirements and contributes to Product
RFPs(Request for Proposals)
Participates in vendor selection process
Coordinates tasks between different departments to deliver
product per the project plan schedule
Leads team in preparation of deliverables: business case,
revenue forecast, product presentations, market research, marketing
communication and customer care briefs, sales training, test plans, functional
product specifications, project plan, etc
Proactively recognizes bottlenecks and potential for
improvements
Meets revenue targets by launching promotions, enhanced
functionality, etc
Interdepartmental coordination-supports sales with proper
tools to close the sale and keep the customer satisfied
Establishes roadmaps and forecasts for a specific product
based on market trends
Understands customer lifecycle and anticipates/recognizes
needs
The Requirements
University degree, preferably in Economics
Minimum 3 years of work experience in marketing,
project/product management
Experience in customer relationship management, customer
focused, understand the industry
Team player, strong presentation and communication skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop
and grow people for more challenging tasks
Fluency in English
Excellent MS Office skills&
