Position
This newly formed position will provide you with an
opportunity to establish the structure and culture for a new business unit. You
will provide leadership, expertise and direction to the Non Process
Infrastructure Engineering Function. The
primary purpose of this role is to provide Technical Support to the Operations
and provide an engineering design service for Civil and Electrical business
units. Building and maintaining positive
relationships with key business stakeholders is vital to the success of the
role.
Key accountabilities
will include but are not limited to:
• Demonstrating

• An overriding

• Leading, coaching
and mentoring employees to deliver performance; positively influencing and
shaping the culture to ensure a safe, sustainable and disciplined approach to
work.
• Owning and driving
the Operation's engineering strategies in line with long term plans and
operational targets
• Providing high
level technical support in electrical and civil disciplines.
• Providing
governance of, and ensuring critical controls are in place, to ensure work
practices in the operation remain safe and compliant to standards and
specifications.
• Providing input
into long-term life of asset planning and establish goals and targets for the
maintenance function in line with those plans and budgets.
• Ensuring a
sustaining capital plan is maintained for Operations.
• Taking operational
accountability for delivering against targets and budgets for Safety, Volume and
Cost.

Skills and Experience
In order to be successful in this role you will have
extensive experience in Engineering leadership roles, including setting up and establishing a department
would be desirable not essential.
Significant experience in managing specialist cross functional teams is
essential. Furthermore you will be a
tertiary qualified Engineering professional with a proven leadership track
record in a Civil and or Electrical industry environment. With high level
interpersonal and engaging communication skills you will have a proven ability
to conduct complex negotiations and influence and persuade internal and
external stakeholders across all levels.
