Information:
The Human Resources team within Computershare serves as a
support department in the management of our most valuable resource: people.
The
team works in partnership with management to provide professional knowledge,
advice and support on people management issues across all business units. The
team is responsible for full HR support for all Computershare offices in Australia.
We have an opportunity for an experienced recruitment
consultant to join our in-house national recruitment team on a parental leave
fixed term contract as a full time Recruitment Partner. In this role you will
be responsible for, and take pride in, providing excellent recruitment and
selection support for various roles nationally.
You will draw upon your expertise to implement effective
recruitment campaigns and attract the best candidates who will drive our
business forward and support our performance culture. A team focus, excellent
multi-tasking ability, strong influencing skills and a can do attitude is
required in this busy role.
Specific duties will
include, but not be limited to:
- Co-ordination and
facilitation of all internal and external recruitment and selection activities
to meet KPI's, including behavioural interviews and writing targeted
advertisements
- Providing
recruitment coaching, advice and support to managers and staff
- Conducting thorough
recruitment briefs with hiring managers
- Liaising with
recruitment suppliers and vendors
- Completing
reference checks
- Recruitment
administration and paperwork
- Ensuring
recruitment practices are compliant
- Responding to
general inquiries
- Assisting with
assessment centre facilitation
To succeed in
securing this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated
relevant internal recruitment and selection experience within a range of
sectors
- Proven ability to
operate proactively, autonomously and display effective lateral problem solving
skills and use initiative
- Excellent
interpersonal skills, customer focus, professional approach and ability to
build effective relationships
- Energy, quick
thinking and a sense of urgency
- Flexibility and
adaptability to work as part of a close knit team supporting a diverse range of
industries
- Ability to work
from multiple locations (Abbotsford, St
Kilda Road and Port Melbourne) in Melbourne as required
- Professional verbal
and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Highly effective
organisation and time management skills
- An understanding of
relevant legislation and its application in recruitment and a solid
understanding of the current employment market
