candidates for the position of Intern, Information Solutions and Services, in
Durham, NC or Washington, DC.
NOTE: Full-time availability (40 hours/week) beginning on or after mid-May
2014, for period of 10-12 weeks. Part-time availability of 8-16 hours/week
prior to mid-May 2014.
Position Description:
Assists in research and fact-finding to develop or modify information
systems. Assists in preparing detailed
specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and
maintains those programs. Acts as a
liaison between departments to facilitate communication and input within the
organization. Performs queries,
generates reports from applications or databases and provides technical
assistance as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
Develop code in .Net for internal
application, including but not limited to SRSS, SQL and ad hoc reports
Gather technical requirements for
application development projects
Analysis and testing for
enterprise financial, human resources, and administrative systems and projects.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in an
Information Technology related field or considerable progress towards one.
Working knowledge of SRSS, SQL
Server 2008/2012, C# or asp .Net.
