Job Details


Our client, Is currently looking to recruit a Office Administrator based in their office in Bar Hill, Cambridge.

You must have;


  •         At least 2 years administrator experience
  •         Grade C or above in Maths and English
  •         Fantastic communication skills
  •         Experience assisting with credit control.
  •         Experience working with Purchase and Sales ledger
  •         Experience in dealing with client invoices
  •         A general knowledge of Security Systems is an advantage however not essential.
  •         Experience working under pressure in a busy office environment
  •         Good Microsoft Office experience (Word/Excel/ Publisher)
  •     Perform secretarial functions including drafting and typing quotations, letters, memos and other documents
  •     Assisting with credit control when requested
  •     Arranging maintenance renewals visits schedule on a monthly basis
  •     Entering of purchase and sales invoices onto the Sage system
  •     Prepare received payments for banking and prepare cheques for suppliers
  •     Preparing job packs for the engineers
  •     Ensuring that the office and telephones are open to both internal and external callers between office hours and deal with any left messages from the answer machine
  •     Ensure all calls are routed to the appropriate department, dealing with routine calls from customers regarding maintenance visits and contracts
  •     Ordering of supplies, including stationery, office sundries and kitchen supplies when requested
  •     Administer travel and hotel arrangements for staff members, when requested
  •     Maintain shared diaries and the pending and main filing system
  •     Deal with any day to day problems arising from collections or deliveries; liaising with the management as appropriate
  •     Act as first point of contact for the Office Manager and provide secretarial support when requested

Hours of work are 8.30am-5.00pm (Mon-Fri)
