Job Title: Internship, Instructional Design and Learning Intern
Division: Human Resources/Workforce Development
Location: Baltimore, MD/Headquarters
Reports to: Learning Manager
Background:
Talent Management is the focus of the CRS Human Resources Department. Talent Management focus calls for the HR Workforce Development team to expand or create capacity in the following areas:
comprehensive learning management system competency-based employee development career pathing systems succession planning mentoring management development on boarding and orientation monitoring and evaluation of learning
Instructional Design :
- Support the instructional design and development processes of e-learning courses.
- Create interactive course activities, such as quizzes, games, discussions)and courses
- Support development of storyboards and wire frames for e-learning content
- Source images and graphics
- Create training aids for system implementations and operational processes, such as job aids and quick reference guides.
- Work within CRS Learns (Learning Management System) to upload courses, support reporting, support curricula development and customer service needs.
- Other duties as assigned in support of the Workforce Development Team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Distance learning or other related area.
- Experience using rapid eLearning development tools, e.g., Articulate Studio and/or Storyline preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Agency-wide Competencies (for all CRS Staff)
